April 2010 - Fine Gardening magazine 2 days before Christmas we got a call from editor Danielle Sherrytelling us that Danielle's color saturated evening photograph of our gardens would be on the cover of Fine Gardening magazine! There's a super 6 page article (read it here) that reviews some of my favorite cut flowers and shows me building a large bouquet step by step (read it here). What a pleasure it is to finally realize the vision I communicated to our garden designer Sharon Nyenhuis in 1999 "I want our gardens to be on the cover of Fine Gardening magazine" Tom and I are over the moon!! |
 June 2007 - Sunset Magazine The Cutting Garden is featured in a four-page article Secrets from a Northwest Color Garden. Photographer John Granen did the most magnificent job of capturing the lush colors and interesting shapes of many of the flowers and foliage in our gardens. Thanks also to Jim McCausland who wrote an article that is not only technically informative, but friendly and fun, too. Our thanks to Sunset -- we are very proud indeed! |
